A little piece of Paradise

We stayed 7 nights at the Kauai Banyan Inn in the Ulu Suite. Gorgeous views across the tree tops of Koloa, so peaceful and quiet, yet close to Poipu and Koloa. Lorna is the perfect host, discreetly changing our linen, bins and tidying when we were out exploring. She was able to provide lots of helpful information about her lovely island home.  The ability to cook on the communal BBQ is great and helps to save your pennies for other activities and a large fridge is available to keep your groceries cool. Free wifi with good speeds also included. Lorna also has beach towels, chairs, goggles, snorkels and flippers available for use, as well as DVD and books to borrow. The huge 4 poster bed was divine, so comfortable and quality linen made sleep a dream! A huge window in the room was a delight, especially as we liked to leave the curtains open to see the rain coming across the tree tops. A truly restorative and relaxing week away. As Australians traveling to the US, the cost is quite high, but you save money by not needing to eat out and the quality of the accommodation kept us happy to stay at ‘home’ during our visit. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Kauai was even more gorgeous than we expected. We had a very relaxing and fulfilling stay at Lorna’s house, which is ideally situated to visit every part of the island. Our suite was tastefully decorated and Lorna had thought of everything anyone could need. A+!

A bit of Paradise…

This home is amazing! Wonderful views from the room (the Ali’i) of the mountains and countryside. The accommodations were outstanding and every comfort was attended to. A large soaking tub, an (actual) two-person shower, and a very comfortable king bed. Lorna, the owner, was gracious and helpful and we felt like treasured guests in her home. The grounds are a beautiful wildlife habitat and we were greeted each day by bird-song. Thank you, Lorna, for your true aloha spirit. This was an experience we will treasure!
